Alright, lets see. This drama deserves a...
4 out of 5
Bride of the Century has a very unique plot line. I mean have you watched anything like it before? I think that's what captured the audience in the first place. That and the very handsome Lee Hong Ki..
I was amazed at how the writers were able to make such an amazing drama using both comedy and 'horror'. It is soo very hard to find a good comedy + horror drama these days. I found that both main leads had great chemistry together. And by both main leads I mean Na Do Rim and Choi Kang Joo not Jang Yi Kyung. Ughh how much I hated her but I/m glad she became good at the end. Anyways back to Do Rim and Kang Joo. I think they suited each other pretty well up until the point that they got married. They were still cute together but something was off.
Moving onto Lee Roo Mi and Choi Kang In. They are soooo adorable. I actually never hated Roo Mi, I really liked her. Maybe because I admired how she had gotten to where she was and that she wasn't going to let just anyone take her spot at TaeYang Group and marry her best friend/guy she liked. The one time I did dislike her slightly would have been when she was kinda mean to Kang In. Like women, we get you're in love with Kang Joo but please don't be soo mean to Kang In, HE'S IN LOVE WITH YOU! For someone who knew how it felt to have the person you love not know about your feelings she sure was clueless.
I think that the ghost not being 'real' to the extent it was portrayed was a let down . The writers built up this great story line and then suddenly near ep 12ish it went catapulting out the window. I think they should've added more depth to the ghost lady instead of her just being a scorned bride out for revenge.
Ok so can we just take a moment to remember how much Jang Yi Hyun liked Na Doo Rim? He was soo totally in love with her that it was funny. I'm just glad that he was the sane one in the family.

Plot
The South Korean President travels to a villa to enjoy his vacation. After three gunshots are fired, he disappears. His bodyguard Han Tae-Kyung (Park Yoo-Chun) then attempts to find the President.
....
Han Tae-Kyung (Park Yoo-Chun) works as a presidential guard. He goes to the hospital to see his father who is a high ranking government official. His father got into a car accident last night and is now in critical condition. Han Tae-Kyung only watches his father through a window for a short time before going back to work.
Meanwhile, President Lee Dong-Whi (Son Hyun-Joo) is in his third year of service as the South Korean President. He received huge support during his first year, but his approval rating has declined ever since. A special prosecutor is now investigating President Lee Dong-Whi's finances prior to becoming the President. To cheer himself up, the President decides to make a visit to a traditional market.
During the President's visit to the traditional market, Han Tae-Kyung's phone keeps ringing. He feels that something might be wrong with his father. Then, a man throws white powder on the President and the bodyguards respond accordingly. After the incident, Han Tae-Kyung receives a text message that his father has passed away. Meanwhile, Han Tae-Kyung is reprimanded because the President was hit with the powder. He leaves his badge and gun behind and goes to his father's funeral.
At the funeral, a woman talks to Han Tae-Kyung. She asks him if he has seen a white envelope among the things his father left behind. She also tells him that her father's car accident might have been premeditated murder. She gives him her name card. Her name is Yoon Bo-Won (Park Ha-Sun) and she is a police officer.
Soon, Han Tae-Kyung hears from a dying man that "The President will die on March 5th". As Han Tae-Kyung attempts to enter the vacation villa where the President is staying, he is blocked by soldiers because Han Tae-Kyung doesn't have his badge. Three gun shots are then fired inside the President's villa.

Ok, so I'd give this drama an overall of,
4.5 out of 5
Ok, so honestly I loved this drama. It was like a refreshing burst of air on a humid summers day. The plot line wasn't too cliche which is partially why I LOVED it. I would literally look forward to this drama every week haha. The one thing I didn't like about the drama was the fact that they left Tae Kyung and Bo Won's love story kinda like an open ending. I mean they built up this story between them (the intense stares, the awkward eye contact, the saving each other from getting killed by the bad guys like every episode) but it was like a 'dud' at the end. Some people were happy because they didn't want the 'action' to be ruined by romance and I get that, but if the writers were gonna build up this love thing between them then they should have at least finished it properly. Now I'm not saying the drama was bad because of this, I'm just saying that it's what let it down in my opinion. But they were soo cute together hahah. Their cute yet awkward encounters.
Speaking of romance, was anyone else confused about Lee Cha Young and whether she had feelings for Tae Kyung like ever. I kinda got the feeling that they wanted to make a love triangle between the three of them but then suddenly decided not to and we were just left with this weird thing between Tae Kyung, Cha Young and Bo Won.
I never really liked the president. I felt he was really indecisive about who's side he was on.Like one minute he's asking for help from Han Tae Kyung and the next he's going Kim Do Jin as if they're besties having a sleepover.
Ok who else LOVED the flashbacks that Tae Kyung had to his training days? I thought they were great. They really showed the amount of dedication it takes to become an agent. One thing the team leader once said really stuck to me, "most people run when they hear gunshots, but these kids have been trained to go against their instincts and throw themselves at danger". It was something like that and it was really deep ahah. I really liked the team leaders. Both of them. They were cool lol.

"The Heirs" depicts the friendships, rivalries and love lives of young, rich heirs led by Kim Tan (Lee Min-Ho) and a girl named Cha Eun-Sang (Park Shin-Hye). Unlike the others, Cha Eun-Sang is considered ordinary and comes from a poor background.
18-year-old Cha Eun-Sang lives with her mother who is mute. Her mother works as a housekeeper and Eun-Sang also works part-time jobs to help out. One day, Eun-Sang's older sister (Yoon Jin-Seo) calls from the U.S. and informs them that she will marry. Eun-Sang's mother then asks Eun-Sang to send her older sister some money from her savings account. Eun-Sang isn't happy with her situation and decides to go to the U.S. herself to see if she can start a better life with her sister.
When Eun-Sang arrives in California she is in for a shock. Her older sister lives in a filthy home with a deadbeat boyfriend who seems violent. Her sister is also not getting married or going to school and works full-time as a waitress. When Eun-Sang finally tracks down her sister working at a beach front restaurant, she takes the money Eun-Sang brought for her wedding and leaves without even saying goodbye. Eun-Sang's dreams of starting a better life in America quickly vanishes and she crumbles to the ground in tears.
Meanwhile, Kim Tan is not your typical high school student, but a handsome and wealthy Korean heir to a large conglomeration. He is sitting out on the patio of the beach front restaurant, watching everything unfold between Eun-Sang and her sister. Kim Tan's American friend then sees a ziplock bag with a powdery substance fall out of Eun-Sang's suitcase and runs over to scoop it up. Kim Tan knows immediately that the ziplock bag doesn't contain drugs, but rather powder grain to make traditional Korean drinks. Soon, Eun-Sang runs off after Kim Tan's friend and Kim Tan goes to help Eun-Sang. When the dust is settled, Eun-Sang walks out of a police station and her passport is temporarily confiscated. With nowhere to go for Eun-Sang, Kim Tan offers to let her stay at his home. Although they seem to come from different worlds, they quickly develop a rapport for each other. But, when Kim Tan is at school, Eun-Sang meets a girl named Rachel (Kim Ji-Won). Rachel informs Eun-Sang that she is Kim Tan's fiance and she demands that Eun-Sang leaves his home immediately. Eventually, Eun-Sang returns to South Korea.
Kim Tan now feels nothing but emptiness after Eun-Sang's departure. He decides to go back to Korea even though his older stepbrother Won (Choi Jin-Hyuk) strongly opposes his return. When Kim Tan gets back to his luxurious mansion like home, he sees someone briefly that resembles Eun-Sang. Kim Tan goes to his mother Ki-Ae (Kim Sung-Ryoung) and asks about the unfamiliar, but familiar girl that he briefly saw. His mother tells him that the girl is their housekeeper's daughter and her name is Cha Eun-Sang. She's also staying in their home.

Ok, so this drama was great!! I personally loved it! The story line, THE CAST, the setting, just everything about this drama I loved. Although she ended up with Kim Tan (obviously as he's the main lead) I reallyyy felt bad for Young Do. I mean the whole thing with his mother gone and his father being an abusive creep I felt that he should have had a happier ending. Yeah, he found his mum and is in charge of the company but he is still going to have that gaping hole in his heart that Eun Sang created. And was it just me or was she kinda mean to him a bit tooo much. I get that he was kinda bad to you at first but she could've been a little nicer to the guy, he did just tell you he liked you....
Now for the most cutest couple ever.. *drumroll please* .....
Lee Bo Na and Yoon Chan Young!! They have got to be the funniest, most cutest couple ever! Their chemistry was great and they made the whole drama just more likeable along with Myung Soo. Now HE was funny. Hahah
Lets talk about Rachel and Hyo Shin. They would be cute together if they got over their awkwardness lol. The scene at the school infirmary was too cute. I don't think I had ever seen Rachel so flustered. And Hyo Shin's smile with his dimples and all was just adorable! I really had hoped that they'd get together, but alas we were left hanging.
Ok can we just have a moment in silence to recall the hilarious friendship between Kim Tan's mum and Cha Eun Sang's mom.. Who knew Eun Sang's mother had spy skills when she broke into the chairmans safe hahah. Their bickering made the drama all the more interesting to watch.

Ok, so I'd give this drama an overall of,
5 out of 5
Now like I said this is probably because it was the first ever drama I created by none the less it was fantastic!
Yes I admit it was a tad bit cliche and some say that the story line wasn't even that good but I beg to differ. I mean yes, you may be right but this drama was a success in the eyes of many. It introduced a whole new world of K-Dramas to those who had never watched one before. To this day, I still go back and watch it again (which some people find weird) but who cares hahah. It is a really popular drama to the extent where it is being said that "you are not a true K-Drama fan if you have not watched Boys Over Flowers"
I really do recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it.
